You hold three secret roles. On your turn, claim any role and take its action — whether you hold it or not. Think someone's lying? Call a Showdown. Whoever's wrong about the bluff loses a card. Lose all three and you're run out of town.
The six roles
Boss
Rakes in coin — more the closer you are to the grave. Shrugs off the Sheriff's tax.
Sharpshooter
Pays to put down one of a rival's roles. Aim it, and you pick which.
Gunslinger
Stands between you and the Sharpshooter's bullet.
Sheriff
Taxes a rival three coins, or stops someone living off the land.
Scout
Asks a rival for a role by name. They have to answer honestly — out loud.
Ten Gallon Hat
Draws two fresh roles and quietly buries two. Keeps the Sheriff's hands off your purse.
How a turn plays
- 1
Claim
Name a role and take its action. Nobody checks your cards — unless they dare.
- 2
Showdown
Any rival can call your bluff, even on someone else's behalf. Cards flip. Somebody bleeds.
- 3
Posse
Reveal a matching pair for a combo nobody can call a bluff on.
- 4
Ambush
Seven coins buys a hit on any rival. Hoard ten and you're forced to pull the trigger.

Easy to round up a posse
- One link deals them in. Make a room in one click and share a short code — no accounts, nothing to install.
- Play anywhere. Built for the phone in your pocket, just as happy on a laptop.
- Short a player? Seat a bot. Each has its own temper, and it won't tell you which.
- Honest liars only. Your hand never leaves the server, so the only way to cheat is to bluff.
- Same table? Pass one device around and play hotseat.
